EUR/GBP is the euro against the pound sterling. The current EUR/GBP price tells you the value of the euro in pounds.
The Eurozone and Great Britain have close economic ties to each other, although their relationship has been put under strain after the UK voted to leave the European Union in 2016. The ups and downs since then have often played out across EUR/GBP, producing multiple trading opportunities.
EUR/GBP is referred to as the ‘Chunnel’ by FX traders, as a reference to the Channel tunnel.
